System Features:

Sump Features:
- Low profile sump. Measures 41" long x 14"
wide and 14" high for easy sump accessibility (refugium is 18" high for an
overall height of 20" not including light canopy)
- Input chamber to accept incoming water flow
where bubbles dissipate and reduces noise and splash.
- Mechanical/chemical foam filter stage for
efficient particulate removal without removing necessary microscopic food
particles (as micron bags will do)
- Safety overflow channel allows water to
continue to flow should the foam filter pad become clogged
- Sump ACCESSORY RACK has locations for four
probes, and three Filter Cylinders (Filter Cylinders and probes are not
included)
- Bulkhead end of sump contains bulkheads
located at pump centerlines, skimmer return, R/O and calcium reactor
connections.
- 1/4" thick ABS sump cover
LifeReefugium Features:
- "Floating Refugium" design places the
refugium 1 1/2" off sump bottom. Main circulation water flows underneath
refugium with its own flow rate and does not disturb refugium water
flow
- Main System water pump supplies water to the
LifeReefugium
- Back and sides are black acrylic to keep
light in the refugium and prevent unwanted algae growth in sump
chambers.
- Refugium measures 20" x 12" x 18", volume
of 15 gallons
- Removable Algae Retention Grid keeps algae
in the refugium but lets small copepods pass through
- Water overflows weir and then drops silently
down through channel to join with sump flow.
- Full perimeter rim reinforces refugium top
to prevent warping
- Top cutout for access into
refugium
- Light Canopy for refugium

Other skimmers can be used with this
system should you choose to do so. I will need to know skimmer make and
model.
Please note that these systems are not in
stock. When you order I will discuss pump options, space requirements, aquarium
bulkhead sizes, etc. In other words I will build what you need, you do not have
to accept a "generic" built sump/refugium as others offer.

Accessory Rack which is shown in other photos. This Accessory Rack holds three
optional Filter Cylinders and up to five electronic
probes.
LifeReefugium Features:
- "Floating Refugium" design places the
refugium 1 1/2" off sump bottom. Water leaving the refugium flows down channel
on right side of refugium into sump, then under refugium to the middle chamber
of the sump.
- Main System water pump supplies controlled
flow of water to the LifeReefugium
- Back and sides are black acrylic to keep
light in the refugium and not in the sump to prevent algae growth in sump
chambers.
- Refugium measures 12" x 12" x 18",
approximately 7.5 gallons
- Algae retention grid keeps algae in the
refugium but lets small copepods, shrimp, etc pass through
- Water overflows weir and then drops silently
down through channel into sump flow
- Full perimeter rim reinforces refugium sides
to prevent warping
- Top cutout for access into
refugium
- Light Canopy
